Job summary

Bond Health is hiring a School-Based Occupational Therapist in New York for full-time or part-time work. You will evaluate students, design treatment plans, and deliver therapy aligned with IFSP/IEP requirements within a supportive, outcomes-focused setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with families, teachers, and other clinicians, maintaining organized records, and providing professional supervision where applicable. A NYS OT license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Occupational Therapy license.
• At least 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience.
• Fingerprinting and background check as required by NY Board.
• Strong communication and collaboration with school teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate students to determine functional abilities and performance levels
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals
• Provide therapy services in accordance with IFSP / IEP requirements
• Support student independence in activities of daily living and functional skills
• Maintain accurate attendance and progress records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, parents, and school personnel
• Recommend referrals to other clinical services when appropriate
• Design and fit adaptive devices such as splints or braces as needed
• Complete all required documentation in a timely and accurate manner
• Provide supervision to Occupational Therapy students and OT Assistants when applicable
• Maintain therapy equipment and coordinate supply needs

Requirements

Experience: Minimum one (1) year of Occupational Therapy experience
License: Valid NYS Occupational Therapy License
