Qualifications

• Valid Maine CHR-C background/fingerprinting.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge and use of computer.

We are currently seeking a School Nutrition Worker to support Hall Dale school kitchens. You'll play a vital role in ensuring students receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a clean, safe and friendly environment.

This Position is Monday through Friday (5) hours a day

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast & Lunch according to USDA and district guidelines


• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and cafeteria


• Traveling between school sites to fill in as needed


• Operate kitchen equipment safely & efficiently


• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (HiSET)


• Valid Maine CHR-C (background & Fingerprinting)


• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation


• Knowledge and use of a computer


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods


• Previous food service experience preferred but not required


• Flexibility and a positive attitude are a must

START DATE: Immediately

SALARY: $18.25/hr. (Step 1) -$21.80/hr. (Step 4) Based on Experience and the Custodian, Drivers and School Nutrition Bargaining Agreement .
