Servingschools is hiring a School Nutrition Worker to support Hall Dale High School, ensuring nutritious meals in a clean, safe environment. The role is Monday through Friday, six hours daily, with travel between sites as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or HiSET, Maine CHR-C background check, a valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills. The position offers hourly pay ranging from the mid-teens to low twenties, based on experience and bargaining agreements.

We are currently seeking a School Nutrition Worker to support Hall Dale High School. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring students receive nutritious, high-quality meals in a clean, safe and friendly environment.

This Position is Monday through Friday (6) hours a day.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve breakfast & Lunch according to USDA and district guidelines
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and cafeteria
• Traveling between school sites to fill in as needed
• Operate kitchen equipment safely & efficiently
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (HiSET)
• Valid Maine CHR-C (background & Fingerprinting)
• Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
• Knowledge and use of a computer
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Previous food service experience preferred but not required
• Flexibility and a positive attitude are a must

START DATE: Immediately

SALARY: $18.25/hr. (Step 1) -$21.80/hr. (Step 4) Based on Experience and the Custodian, Drivers and School Nutrition Bargaining Agreement.
