Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum five years of related experience/training in nutrition services or education.
• Registered dietitian with CDR.
• Experience creating nutrition education materials and presentations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned staff and provide feedback to ensure job performance.
• Develop and coordinate county-wide nutrition education activities and marketing.
• Promote meals programs to support student achievement and healthy lifestyles.
• Serve as the department spokesperson on school meal related issues and media.
• Plan and implement marketing plans and promotional materials.
• Maintain district nutrition web pages and collect feedback to improve service.
• Establish partnerships with health organizations, parents, and community groups.
• Oversee special diets and allergy information.
• Develop staff development programs and precept dietetic students.
