Job summary

Gwinnett County Public Schools is hiring an SNP Associate Manager - School Nutrition - Training to oversee and support School Nutrition Programs across SBP, NSLP, and ASP. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with USDA standards, and coordinate menus, purchasing, and reporting.

The role requires a HS Diploma or GED and ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain). Experience in school nutrition and POS/back‑office systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• ServeSafe certification or ability to obtain within six months; DOE Nutrition Manager certification required.
• 1 year experience in food service production/management as an assistant manager.
• Experience with school nutrition preferred; POS and back-office software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide temporary SNP supervisory support in SNP, SBP, NSLP, ASP programs.
• Ensure fiscal soundness and compliance with USDA Child Nutrition Program standards.
• Lead staff training, development, and team-building activities.
• Oversee menu adherence, food ordering, and recipe compliance with USDA standards.
• Coordinate purchasing per specifications; manage inventory and reporting.
• Ensure food handling, sanitation, safety, and HACCP compliance.
