Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor for Forestdale School Nutrition in Forestdale, MA. This role leads daily kitchen operations, ensures safe, nutritious meals, and supervises a dedicated team in a school setting.

You will manage prep, service, inventory, and compliance, while delivering quality meals that support student health and learning. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 5 years in school nutrition a plus.
• 3+ years in food service with leadership experience.
• ServSafe certs required where mandated; knowledge of local regs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily kitchen operations from prep to service.
• Open/close kitchen, manage inventory and waste.
• Motivate and develop your team for a positive work environment.
• Hands-on ~90% of the day in kitchen and serving area.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and health inspections readiness.
• Assist with menu planning, ordering, and commodities.
