Duluth Public Schools is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant at East High School to support meal preparation and service under the Site Manager and cooks. You will help with meal setup, maintain sanitary conditions, and assist in tracking meals and food records using the cash register and computer system.

The role requires care with large quantities of food, basic math, and computer use; the position is part-time at 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a starting wage of 16.31 USD

Formación

• Must be able to handle large quantities of food.
• Free from contagious disease.
• A combination of education and experience may be accepted as equivalent by the Food Service Department.
• Experience in preparation, handling and serving large quantities of food is desirable.
• Knowledge of methods for preparing, cooking, and serving foods in large quantities.
• Knowledge of simple record keeping and accounting.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods.
• Knowledge of kitchen utensils and their uses.
• Ability to read, write and perform simple arithmetic.
• Basic computer operations.

Responsabilidades

• Assist Site Manager in meal prep and serving.
