Job summary

Osseo Area Schools is seeking a part-time school nutrition assistant to support breakfast and lunch programs on-site. You will help prepare and serve meals, follow USDA meal patterns, and maintain sanitation and safety standards.

This role requires teamwork with nutrition staff, building staff and students, with a 5.5 hour daily schedule and opportunities to grow within the School Nutrition program.

Qualifications

• Experience in school nutrition or food service is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families and staff.
• Follows USDA and MDE meal pattern regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing breakfast and lunch programs and special events.
• Assist in serving meals on time and maintaining clean facilities.
• Maintain temperature logs and proper receiving/storage procedures.
