Willmar Public Schools seeks a part-time Food and Nutrition Assistant to support breakfast and lunch service. The role involves food preparation, serving students and staff, and maintaining clean, sanitary conditions in the kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities include stocking supplies, assisting with record-keeping, and ensuring correct portion sizes and temperatures. Prior cashiering or food service experience is helpful; high school diploma or GED required.

Competenze

• Cashiering experience and math skills used for portion control and cash handling.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions and fine motor tasks for food prep.
• Experience in a fast-paced, school meal service environment is a plus.

Mansioni

• Prepare, dish and serve FNS menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and service lines.
• Assist in stocking and storage of food and supplies; operate dishwashing areas.
