Whitsons Culinary Group in Hyannis, MA is seeking a Chef Manager to lead a school nutrition program with a passion for healthy, kid-friendly meals. You will manage daily kitchen operations, train staff, design menus, ensure USDA compliance, and maintain safety and inventory controls.

Qualifications

3+ years of culinary management experience in school food service or institutional setting.
Strong scratch cooking and batch production skills.
Knowledge of USDA school meal guidelines and food safety standards.
Proactive leader able to inspire teams and deliver results.
ServSafe Certification required.
OSHA certification preferred but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Lead daily kitchen operations to deliver healthy meals.
Supervise and train kitchen staff for excellence and efficiency.
Create nutritious, kid-friendly menus aligned with USDA guidelines.
Maintain food safety, sanitation, and inventory controls.
