Cambridge Lakes Charter School is seeking a part-time Food Service Staff to manage daily operations of the school’s food service program and ensure meals are prepared and served in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and experience in food service management; ServSafe certification is preferred. The job may include evenings or weekends for events and training.

Formación

• Experience in school food service management preferred.
• Knowledge of school nutrition program regulations and sanitation.
• Ability to work effectively with students and staff.
• Food Safety Manager Certification preferred (e.g., ServSafe).

Responsabilidades

• Report equipment malfunctions for repair needs.
• Arrange food items for efficient service to students and staff.
• Maintain sanitary utensils, equipment, and areas.
• Inspect food items to ensure health standards.
• Prepare food to meet nutritional requirements.
• Attend department meetings and trainings.
• Maintain safe temperatures and storage conditions.
• Support other food service positions as needed.
• Serve food to meet nutritional requirements and requests.
• Perform related duties to ensure efficient operations.
• Transport food from storage to the food line.
• Promote participation in food services programs.
• Protect student confidentiality of eligibility and accounts.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and food safety standards.
• Comply with laws and department policies.
