Job summary

Mapleton Public Schools is seeking a Nutrition Services Assistant to support the district's food service program. You will prepare meals, serve students, and maintain kitchen safety under the supervision of the Director of Nutrition Services.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior commercial food service experience. Candidates must pass a criminal background check and participate in Title IX training as required by state policy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to planned menus and tested recipes following all applicable food safety standards.
• Serve students meals according to standardized recipe instructions following all applicable food safety standards and CN Program regulations.
• Maintain and operate the point of sale system and district software.
• Assist with daily production records, meal counts, temperature logs, and deposits.
• Foster a team environment and assist coworkers with scheduled work demands.
