Job summary

Kentwood Public Schools is seeking a Production Utility in Child Nutrition Services to support cashiering, setup, serving, and cleanup in the kitchen. This role may include other duties as assigned by the Director of Child Nutrition Services or supervisor.

Responsibilities emphasize reliable attendance, teamwork, and maintaining equipment and food prep areas to meet Health Department requirements. Travel between schools may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a diverse environment and communicate effectively with staff and students.
• Must lift up to 40–50 pounds as needed.
• Experience with large-scale food preparation and serving.

Responsibilities

• Regular, reliable and punctual attendance.
• Maintain the kitchen and equipment to meet Health Department requirements.
• Assist in preparation of food for satellite schools and setup of serving areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the Director of Child Nutrition Services or designee.
