Key responsibilities include menu development aligned with USDA/state guidelines, cost control, budgeting, and staff supervision. The position emphasizes collaborative communication with district officials and strong reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 1–2 years of proven staff management experience.
• Food service industry experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain necessary clearances and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage school menus in compliance with USDA and state guidelines.
• Oversee food cost control, budgeting, and inventory management.
• Lead and supervise cafeteria staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure accuracy in accounting and reporting processes.
• Maintain strong communication with school district administrators and officials.
