Chisum Independent School District in Paris, Texas is seeking a Food Service Director to direct and manage the district's child nutrition programs, ensuring menus meet nutritional requirements and compliance with USDA/TEA guidelines. You will develop menus, coordinate lunch schedules with principals, and oversee free/reduced lunch processes and written operational procedures.

The role requires strong budgeting, personnel management, on-site inspections, and a focus on safe, sanitary operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HS diploma with food management courses.
• Experience in food service management.
• Knowledge of menu planning, food purchasing and food preparation

Responsabilités

• Direct and manage district's child nutrition programs.
• Develop menus meeting nutritional requirements for students.
• Collaborate with campus principals to create lunch schedules and resolve personnel issues.
• Establish procedures for free/reduced lunch applications per USDA/TEA guidelines.
• Develop written procedures for all food service operations.
• Develop and administer budget and implement cost-effective procurement.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws and district policies.
• Supervise cafeteria managers and staff; evaluate performance.
• Maintain safety and sanitation standards and conduct training.
