Chartwells K12 seeks a School Nutrition Dietitian to oversee diet menus and compliance at Fort Worth ISD. The role collaborates with the child nutrition team to support food service operations and educate students on nutrition.

Ideal candidate holds a RD, with 2–3 years of experience; Master’s preferred. Strong computer skills and knowledge of internal menu software are required as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and Registered Dietitian per the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of professional experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficient computer skills required.
• Food Handelers Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage special diet menus for students with allergies or medical conditions.
• Ensure menus meet compliance standards using internal menu software.
• Collaborates with the child nutrition team to support food service operations.
• Train staff on food allergy procedures and program compliance.
• Lead student nutrition education initiatives.
• Conduct internal audits and ensure USDA school meal program compliance.
• Research and apply for grants to support district nutrition goals.
• Participate in community events as needed.
