Mesa County Valley School District 51 seeks a Nutrition Services Culinary Associate to prepare scratch meals and serve students with a focus on safety and quality. You will operate commercial kitchen equipment and help maintain compliance with USDA and Nourish Colorado standards.

The role requires strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a school-based nutrition team.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required with diploma pursuit optional.
• Conversational English language skills required.

Mansioni

• Prepare and serve scratch meals following USDA/Nourish guidance.
• Maintain food safety and HACCP practices for students and staff.
• Rotate stock using FIFO and assist with inventory control.
• Operate standard institutional kitchen equipment and POS tasks.
• Support at multiple sites and participate in open house events.
