Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of food service experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Knowledge of USDA school meal regulations preferred.
• ServSafe Certification required (or ability to obtain within designated timeframe).
• Basic computer skills required (email, production records, POS systems).

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising, training, and supporting cafeteria staff and act as Manager in absence.
• Assist in daily meal production according to menus and portion controls.
• Monitor compliance with USDA meal patterns and reimbursable meal guidelines.
• Maintain accurate production records and support inventory control.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and uphold food safety standards.
• Provide customer service to students and staff and support promotions.
