GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

Assist the Cafeteria Manager by performing some managerial tasks and by taking charge in absence of manager.

SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to the Cafeteria Manager, School Nutrition Supervisor, School Nutrition Assistant Director and School Nutrition Director.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Experience should include prior school nutrition employment. Experience in a similarschool nutrition operation may be substituted. Formal education preferred - technical training or college level. Not a college level - graduation from high school or equivalent. Courses in home economics and special courses such as State Department of Instructionschool nutrition courses are suggested. Educational requirements may be waived at the discretion of the School Nutrition Director and the school principal. Leadership ability - skills in working with and directing people are essential. Performance of this job will be evaluated annually by the Manager.
