Job summary

Greeley-Evans School District 6 is seeking an Assistant Food Production Manager to support the Central Production Kitchen for district school nutrition programs. You will help prepare scratch-made meals in bulk, oversee dish room operations, and ensure safe, sanitary, and efficient kitchen practices.

Qualifications

• Two years of institutional food service experience required.
• Two years of supervisory experience in food service required.
• ServSafe CFPM Certificate must be obtained within 12 months of employment.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-volume, scratch-made meals for district school nutrition programs according to standardized recipes and schedules.
• Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely, monitor food quality, yields, portions, and timelines.
• Follow established food safety procedures for preparation, cooking, cooling, storage, and transportation.
• Provide operational oversight in the absence of the Food Production Manager to support daily kitchen operations.
• Coordinate staff activities and production workflows to meet departmental priorities.
• Maintain production, sanitation, and other records in accordance with district procedures and regulations.
• Coordinate dish room activities to ensure proper cleaning, sanitizing, and storage of dishes and equipment.
