Job summary

Queen Creek Unified School District is seeking a student worker to assist in the daily process of the department. The role requires current QCUSD high school student status and the ability to communicate with parents, staff, and students.

The position is hourly, non-exempt, with work hours ranging from 2.5 to 5 hours per week, during the 181-day school term. Compliance with policies and safety rules is expected, along with basic lifting and mobility duties.

Qualifications

• Must be a current QCUSD high school student.
• Ability to communicate with parents, staff and students.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Knowledge of and adheres to all policies, regulations and rules.
• For those 18+: Must pass a background clearance and obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., be able to exert 25-30 lbs. of force frequently, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to walk, reach, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, and to sit for long periods of time.
• Food Handler's Card.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good rapport with students, employees and community.
• Learn all essential skills within a reasonable time span.
• Assists with stocking and replenishing of supplies.
• Performs all duties in a safe and prudent manner as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
