Job summary

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, some food service experience, and a current Serv Safe Certification, with the ability to follow policies and work well with students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in school food service preferred.
• Healthy physical and emotional condition to perform duties as described.
• Current Serv Safe Certification.
• Background clearance as required by Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to and support for the vision and mission of Pell City Schools.
• Plan, prepare and serve food as assigned by manager.
• Perform custodial, dish room, serving area and storeroom duties as assigned.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and work safety.
• Operate and maintain food service equipment safely.
• Provide cordial and professional service to students and others.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and other school/workplace matters.
