Kehoe-France Inc. is seeking a licensed School Nurse to support students and staff at our Louisiana campus. The candidate must hold a Louisiana RN license (or ADN/ASN) and current CPR/First Aid certification.

The role requires the ability to work independently while collaborating with school administration. The substitute nurse will perform health assessments, administer medications per physician orders, maintain health records, and respond to emergencies.

Qualificações

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification is required.
• RN license (LA) or ADN/ASN is needed.
• Experience in pediatrics, school nursing, emergency, or community health is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing assessment, first aid, and emergency care for students, staff, and visitors.
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders, parent authorization, and policy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of health visits, medications, treatments, and incidents.
• Assess ill or injured students and determine disposition (return to class, notify parents, or call EMS).
• Monitor students with chronic conditions and implement healthcare plans.
• Maintain confidentiality of health information.
• Follow communicable disease protocols and notify administration as required.
• Communicate with parents about illness or injury as appropriate.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, counselors, and staff to support health and safety.
• Keep the health office clean, organized, and secure medications and supplies.
