St. Anne’s-Belfield School is seeking a compassionate and dedicated School Nurse Substitute to join our team, providing coverage on an as-needed basis across the Lower School and Upper School campuses. The School Nurse is responsible for executing the school health program, assisting with student well-being, and completing health-related tasks.
Standard work hours are 7:50 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Temporary/Part-Time
Must hold a valid license to practice as an LPN or RN in Virginia and maintain current certification in cardio‑pulmonary resuscitation. Familiarity and confidence with basic keyboarding skills and medical record keeping are expected. Ideal candidates have a minimum of two years of experience as a school nurse.
Duties are typically performed in a school clinic and other school settings such as classrooms, gym, cafeteria, and recreational areas. Frequent movement throughout the school facilities is required. Occasional lifting of objects up to 40 pounds and students weighing 150 pounds may be necessary. Occasional exposure to potentially infectious diseases and blood‑borne pathogens is necessary. Occasional movement of students by wheelchair and other mechanical devices may be necessary.
$25 per hour
