Job summary

Alamance-Burlington Schools is seeking a licensed School Nurse to join the Student Support Services team in Burlington, North Carolina. Under the supervision of the Principal/Lead Nurse, you will coordinate health services across assigned schools and ensure compliance with HIPAA, FERPA, and state nursing standards.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN or higher, RN license with NC, NBCSN certification within 3 years, CPR, and a valid NC driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or higher from an accredited program.
• RN licensed with NC Board of Nursing.
• National Certification as a school nurse within 3 years of hire.
• Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Ensure school health policies meet federal, state, and local standards.
• Serve as health consultant to school administration and staff.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and confidentiality.
• Coordinate health screenings and health program activities.
• Collaborate with SHAC and health agencies on health initiatives.
