Job summary

Omaha Public Schools at Springville Elementary in Omaha, NE is seeking a School Nurse to protect student health, support development, and promote academic success. Reports to the Building Principal and works 10 months per year with 188 duty days.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Registered Nursing Program; active Nebraska RN license; CPR/AED certification.
• Bachelor’s degree required or actively pursuing; BSN preferred.
• Hold valid nursing license with Nebraska Health & Human Services or NLN; CSN certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing/health care for students with varied medical needs.
• Conduct on-site health assessments and develop emergency health plans.
• Ensure compliance with state immunization requirements and maintain health records.
