Qualifications

• RN license in Iowa (unrestricted) required.
• CPR or BLS certification required (or obtain within 6 months).
• BSN or related bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and protects the health status of school-age children.
• Provides health assessments and health counseling to students and families.
• Develops and implements individualized student health plans and manages emergency nursing needs.
• Coordinates with school staff, health services, parents and community resources.
