Qualifications

• Current New Jersey RN license required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Reliable vehicle and dependable transportation.
• Most recent physical examination completed within the past 12 months.
• PPD/TB test or QuantiFERON completed within the past 12 months.
• Reliable, professional, and dependable.
• Previous school, pediatric, hospital, or community nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care in the school nurse office.
• Administer medications as ordered.
• Provide first aid and respond to student health needs.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records.
• Follow all applicable nursing, school, and safety policies.
