Job summary

Nyman Associates is seeking a qualified School Nurse (RN or LPN) to support students across district settings in Allentown, PA. This W2 role offers a balanced schedule with competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

The nurse will provide direct student care, administer medications, deliver first aid, and collaborate with school teams to meet regulatory requirements and foster student wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of practice
• Department of Education certification (if applicable)
• CPR/AED certification
• Experience in pediatric nursing, school nursing, or a related field (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to students
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Deliver first aid and emergency response
• Offer preventative care and health education
• Document all services accurately and timely
• Collaboration with all school team members
• Coordinate, plan, and deliver health services in accordance with state School Code, District Policies, and Department of Health regulations
• Ensure the school district's health program is executed in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
