WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking caring and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to deliver health services to students in school settings. As a School LPN, you will play a vital role in the health and well-being of children, supporting them in a safe and nurturing educational environment.

Join our team for full-time school health nursing, with shifts including Sundays-Wednesdays or Wednesdays-Saturdays, and pay starting at $33 per hour.

Qualifications

• LPN license required (New York)
• Experience in pediatrics or school health preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to students, including administering medication and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor students for signs of illness or injury and provide appropriate first aid.
• Assist with screening programs and health assessments.
• Develop care plans with school staff and parents/guardians.
• Maintain accurate health records and confidentiality of student information.
• Educate students on health topics and promote wellness and healthy habits.
