Nyman Associates is seeking a School Nurse – RN or LPN to join our collaborative team serving students in the Northeastern US. This W2 role emphasizes work-life balance, competitive pay, and an extensive benefits package for experienced pediatric and school-nursing professionals.

Responsibilities include direct student care, medication administration, first aid, health education, accurate documentation, and coordination with school staff to align with state codes and district policies.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as RN or LPN in the state of practice.
• CPR/AED certification.
• Experience in pediatric nursing, school nursing, or related field (Preferred)
• Department of Education certification (if applicable)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct services to students
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Deliver first aid and emergency response
• Offer preventative care and health education
• Document all services accurately and timely
• Collaboration with all school team members
• Coordinate, plan, and deliver health services in accordance with state School Code, District Policies, and Department of Health regulations
• Ensure the school district’s health program is executed in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
