Job summary

Willmar Public Schools is seeking a Registered Nurse to care for ill and injured students and provide skilled nursing services within the district building. Under the direction of the Licensed School Nurse, you will administer medications, perform health screenings, and maintain health records in accordance with district policies.

The position is full-time, non-exempt with a starting hourly rate of $22.00–$32.00, based on credentials and experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year skilled nursing experience; prior experience in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Licensed School Nurse, the RN cares for ill and injured students, provides skilled nursing services, nursing treatments, health education, evaluation, health screening, medication administration, and maintains health records within the building of assignment.
