Kennedy Krieger Institute is seeking a School Nurse (RN) for the Southern Maryland Campus. The Kennedy Krieger School Program offers services to children with learning challenges. Students aged 5‑21 receive instruction focused on academic, social, emotional, and behavioral skills in an environment that recognizes each child’s strengths.
During the school year, the position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 7:45 am to 3:45 pm. During the summer, it is 30 hours per week, Monday through Thursday from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm.
$2,000 for each eligible child through the age of 6; $600 for each child age 7‑10.
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN or enrollment in a BSN program to be completed within 2½ years of hiring date.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical/pediatric experience and at least one year of school health experience.
License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license from Maryland or a compact state.
Certification: Current CPR certification that includes hands‑on skills.
