Job summary

Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy in Stamford, CT is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to support student health and safety across PK–12th grade. The RN will provide daily health services, administer medications, and coordinate with families and staff to promote wellness.

The role requires CT RN licensure, CPR/AED and First Aid certification, and 1–3 years of pediatrics or school health experience. The schedule reflects school days on Wednesday and Friday.

Qualifications

• CT RN license (or eligible) and CPR/AED & First Aid certifications.
• 1–3 years experience in pediatrics, school nursing, or community health preferred.
• Diabetes management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid, illness assessment, and emergency care.

Bi-Cultural Hebrew Academy is seeking a compassionate and reliable Part Time Registered Nurse to support the health and well-being of students in a PK-12th grade school setting. As a valued member of our school community, the School Nurse will provide daily health services, promote wellness, and ensure a safe learning environment for all students.

About the Role

The School Nurse will work on Wednesday 8 am to 3:45 pm and Friday 8 am to 1:30 pm, providing first aid, illness assessment, and emergency care to approximately 400 students. Responsibilities will also include administering medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies, managing student health records, and developing individual healthcare plans and emergency action plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first aid, illness assessment, and emergency care to students and staff
