Job summary

Interim HealthCare Staffing in Carbondale, PA is seeking a School Nurse LPN/RN to support students daily. You will provide direct care, administer medications per policies, and help maintain health records to stay compliant with state regulations.

Qualifications

Active PA nursing license and accredited nursing program graduate.
Minimum of 1 year in pediatric, school health, or community health nursing.
Current CPR certification.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and ability to work independently.
Compassionate communicator who collaborates with students, staff, and families.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to students for acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic health conditions.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and school policies.
Monitor and manage student health records to ensure compliance with state regulations.
Develop and implement care plans for students with medical needs.
Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics, including disease prevention and wellness.
Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with emergency services when necessary.
Collaborate with school staff and community health resources to support students' well-being.
