Job summary

CCRES Educational and Behavioral Health Services is seeking a caring Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide health services to students within Susquenita School District. The LPN works under supervision to support student health, safety, and access to education.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring health status, and contributing to IHPs and 504/IEP health services while maintaining confidential records and effective communication with families and staff.

Qualifications

• Current PA LPN license in good standing.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to students with acute and chronic health needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document student health status and nursing services provided.
• Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and emergencies.
• Assist with the implementation of IHPs, 504 plans, and IEP-related health services.
• Communicate with families, school staff, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs.
• Maintain accurate, confidential health records.
• Support health screenings, immunization compliance, and other school health initiatives.
• Collaborate with educational teams to support student success.
