Qualifications

• Current MN RN license and Public Health Nurse license.
• CPR certification current.
• Driver's license valid for in-district travel.
• Knowledge of state and federal health laws.

• Ability to build good working relationships with school personnel and community.

Responsibilities

• Delegate nursing procedures to staff per MN Nurse Practice Act.
• Manage health services and health requirements for students.
• Administer medications per physician orders and policies.
• Maintain health records within Campus system.
• Participate in IEP health components and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Promote immunization, early detection and disease control.
• Support 504 plans, IHPs and ECPs as required.
• Attend mandatory trainings and maintain OSHA standards.
