Zusammenfassung

Minneapolis Public Schools seeks a dedicated School Nurse (LSN) to coordinate health care for individual students and the student population at Davis Center. You will apply the nursing process, train staff, and supervise Health Services staff and other school personnel involved in health care.

The role involves IEP collaboration, development of IHP and EHP, and working with a multidisciplinary team to support student health and learning. CPR/First Aid and RN licensure are required.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed to practice as a school nurse in Minnesota.
• Public Health and nursing certifications are current.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are current.

Aufgaben

• Manage care of individual students with health needs using nursing process.
• Interpret health findings to educational staff and providers for accommodations.
• Participate in IEP teams for health/sensory/physical concerns.
• Develop and implement IHP and EHP for students with health conditions.
• Perform skilled nursing procedures and delegate care as appropriate.
• Participate on multidisciplinary teams to support student health and resilience.
• Assist families in obtaining community health care via referrals.
