Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN, LVN, or RN license in Michigan.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily health services for students, including first aid, medication administration, and management of chronic conditions.
• Assess and address students’ acute illnesses or injuries while maintaining detailed records.
• Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to support students’ health needs and individualized education plans (IEPs) where needed.
• Participate in the development and implementation of health education programs.
• Conduct health screenings, maintain immunization records, and track communicable diseases as required by school policy.
• Serve as a resource for health-related questions and support a healthy school climate.
