Job summary

Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation in Columbus, Indiana seeks a licensed school nurse to assess, educate and intervene to maximize classroom time and support a healthy school environment.

You will collaborate with healthcare providers, parents and staff to ensure access to care, maintain records, develop individual health care plans and deliver immunization and health screening programs.

Qualifications

• Must be a state-licensed RN or LPN.
• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry or related science preferred.
• Experience with pediatric populations desirable.
• Ability to work with diverse students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess and intervene to maximize student health and educational time.
• Develop and implement individual health care plans (ICHP).
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation per policy.
• Collaborate with parents, clinicians and school staff to coordinate care.
