Job summary

Sylvania is looking for a Middle/High School Nurse to start in the 2026/2027 school year. Job description

Lake Chelan School District has an opening for a Middle/High School Nurse beginning with the 2026/2027 school year. This position is for 6.5 hours per day / 180 days at $43.51-$56.79 per hour (dependent upon experience).

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Washington State License as a Registered Nurse
• ESA Certificate, preferred
• Knowledge of current Washington State school health requirements preferred
• Bilingual/bicultural (English/Spanish) encouraged to apply
• WA State Patrol, FBI and Sexual Misconduct Clearance

Performance Responsibilities

• Function as a resource person for all areas of health curriculum.
• Plan and provide health in-service activities for staff.
• Cooperate with school personnel in identifying and meeting social, emotional and physical needs of students.
• Act as a resource person in screening students with health conditions and developing appropriate care plans.
• Establish and maintain current health records.
• Conduct required health screenings and make referrals for medical care as needed.
• Supervise administration of students’ medication to ensure compliance with WA State laws.
• Assess student and staff health complaints and provide health counseling and medical referrals as needed.
• Monitor student immunization status and coordinate immunization clinics as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
