The role focuses on direct student care, collaboration with staff, and implementing individualized health plans within a school setting. Qualified candidates hold a CA Certified School Nurse License and will work to promote student health, safety, and well-being across the school community.

Qualifications

• CA Certified School Nurse License is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing services to students and faculty
• Assist students with management of their unique health needs
• Advocate for the students in the best interest of their physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being
• Provide and educate students on health education principals
• Manage oversight of school health services in order to increase health and well-being in the school community
