Job summary

Oxford Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a certified Physical Therapist to provide K-12 school-based services. You will work one-on-one with students and collaborate with staff to deliver customized programs and interventions aligned to each student’s goals.

The ideal candidate has a CA license, a master’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy, and at least 2 years of pediatric experience, including IEP/IFSP planning and autism-focused therapies. Join our mission-driven team.

Qualifications

  • CA License is required.
  • MS in Physical Therapy or higher.
  • 2 years of PT experience in pediatric settings.
  • School-based or clinical experience with children ages 3-18 preferred.

Responsibilities

  • K-12 caseload.
  • Address client’s progress and engagement in occupations affecting health and living quality.
  • Determine and implement the client’s treatment methodology and guidance in interventions.
  • Perform therapeutic services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and sensory needs.
  • Planning, engagement, and implementation of IFSPs or IEPs.
  • Educate clients on better practices of approaching tasks and mentor on small goals.
  • Provide proper care and instruction to family members and caregivers.
  • Oversight, data collection and correction on client progress towards long- and short-term treatment markers.

Job Description:
  • K - 12 caseload
  • Address client’s progress and engagement in occupations that affect client’s health, well-being and living quality

Position Requirements:
  • Active CA Physical Therapy License
  • MS degree or greater in Physical Therapy
  • 2 years working experience as a Physical Therapist
  • 1 year of school-based or clinical experience; children ages 3-18
  • Experience in IEP services and assessments preferred
  • Experience working with children with autism and their families
  • Excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail
  • Candidates must be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children achieve their true potential
  • Pediatric Experience
