Job summary

Oxford Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a California Certified Teacher of the Deaf to work with children diagnosed as deaf or hard of hearing, delivering educational and therapeutic supports in school-based settings and aligning with IEP goals.

Candidates should have CA Teacher of the Deaf certification, pediatric experience, and strong clinical and interpersonal skills. Fluency in ASL is required, and experience with IEP services and assessments is preferred.

Qualifications

• Fluency in ASL required with focus on total communication.
• CA Certificate 'Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing' or equivalent.
• Pediatric experience is required.
• 2 years working as a Teacher of the Deaf; 1 year in school-based/clinical settings desired.
• Experience with IEP services and assessments preferred.

Requirements:

• Fluency in ASL with a focus on total communication.
• CA Certificate “Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing” or “Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing for Oral/Aural Communication” or “Teacher of the Deaf or Hard of Hearing with Sign Language Communication.”
