The Salisbury Township School District has a vacancy for the position of a Part‑Time school nurse assistant (three days a week) with an anticipated start date of August 24th, 2026. Current RN or LPN license required. The position responsibilities include assisting the building certified school nurse to provide every student in the district with the opportunity to achieve their best possible level of wellness. Must enjoy working with children and adolescents.
To competently perform the duties listed below. To support School Nurses in providing the optimum delivery of health care to pupils and staff when the certified school nurse is attending to other duties or working in other buildings.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to lift and move various office and computer equipment weighing up to 30 pounds. Must be physically capable of caring for students in an emergency situation and must be able to stoop and bend as required to operate various pieces of health and office equipment. Must have own transportation in order to drive between buildings in case of an emergency or if nursing coverage is needed at another school. The employee must be able to manage courteous communications with others, including those who are upset or angry, both via the telephone, in writing and in person.
