Maryland School for the Deaf seeks a Registered Nurse to provide student health services and act as a liaison between families and the school. The 2nd shift includes Sundays and weekday evenings, with additional weekend coverage during the school year.

Responsibilities include administering medications, assessing student health, and maintaining accurate records. Candidates must hold an active RN license in Maryland and be willing to learn ASL.

Qualifications

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
• Experience with children in school or hospital settings preferred.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions.

Responsabilités

• Provide health care to students and act as health care liaison between parents and the school.
• Administer medications prescribed for medical conditions or injuries and monitor students' health.
• Maintain Student Health Center records and a safe, compliant environment for patient care.
• Work second shift: Sundays 4:00 PM–11:00 PM, Mondays–Thursdays 2:45 PM–11:00 PM, plus 3 weekends during the school year.
