Job summary

Miamiarch is seeking a Part-time School Nurse at St. David Catholic School in Davie, Florida. School - Staff - St. David Catholic School

Saint David Catholic School, a K-8 school, located in Davie, Florida, has an opening for a Part-time School Nurse. This candidate will be responsible for attending to students needing medical attention as assigned and approved by administration. The Part-time School Nurse performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami and is a person of high-level discretion and confidentiality.

Schedule: 15 hours a week - 10:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Nursing certification as RN required.
• Minimum of two (2) year nursing or clinical experience.
• Excellent customer service skills, including ability to maintain focus on and professionalism with people in challenging situations, both in person and by phone.
• Skilled at building and maintaining good and collaborative relationships.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
• Good time management skills and able to multi-task and retain accuracy in an environment of competing deadlines.
• Proficiency in email communications and calendar functions required, as well as in MS Word.
• Must have a professional demeanor, including the dress code.
• Supportive of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in a Roman Catholic environment strongly preferred.
