Job summary

Lincoln Intermediate Unit 12 is hiring a Certified School Nurse to develop and maintain the district's school health program and provide care for students and staff in need. The role requires a BSN and PA RN license, with PK-12 certification preferred.

Qualifications

Description

The school nurse position will assist in developing and maintaining the school health program assuming authority for the care of students and staff members who have suffered an injury or illness. The school nurse will work directly with parents, teachers, administration, outside agencies and health care providers to meet the medical needs of students and to promote access to educational opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• PA Registered Nurse (RN) License
• PA School Nurse PK-12 certification, preferred.Those with a BSN and RN License interested inpursuing School Nurse Certification will also be considered.
• Two (2) years' experience in public health nursing or equivalent

Terms of Employment

Full Time - 190 Days (Follows the traditional School Year Schedule)

Salary

Bachelors degree starting minimum: $62,011.15

Master's degree starting minimum: $66,511.15 (up to 44 credits) (higher placement available for master's degrees with 45+ credits), plus excellent benefits
