Job summary

Tucson Unified School District is seeking a Campus Monitor for Sam Hughes Elementary School to assist with supervising student behavior during daily activities. The position is part-time (0.25–2 hours per day) with a 9-month work calendar and will require an FBI background check and proof of immunizations. Location: Sam Hughes Elementary School - Speedway & Tucson Blvd Area.

Effective: 2026-2027 school year. Internal candidates may transfer under bargaining unit language.

Qualifications

• Speak, read and write in English
• Experience working with youth
• FBI fingerprint background check
• Proof of immunity to measles and rubella, or MMR immunization
• Campus Monitor Training

• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
• Department of School Safety Campus Monitor Training

FTE: .25 -2 hours per day

Work Calendar:9 month

• Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
