Job summary

Riverbend Community Mental Health Center in Concord, NH seeks a School Mental Health Liaison to strengthen student mental health supports across districts.

This role bridges schools and community providers, coordinates care, and offers expert guidance to school staff to promote equitable access to mental health services.

Structured supervision and opportunities for professional growth are provided as you contribute to long-term, systemic improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Eligibility for NH licensure as LCMHC, LICSW, or LMFT is required.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are essential.

• Bridge Systems: Foster powerful, proactive collaborations between schools, families, and community mental health providers (with a direct link to Riverbend).
• Coordinate Care: Streamline service delivery by facilitating seamless referrals and coordinating comprehensive care plans.
• Consult & Support: Partner directly with school staff across all grade levels to offer expert guidance on student mental health.
• Drive Sustainability: Champion systems-thinking initiatives designed to build long-term, equitable mental health resources within the district.

• Expertise: Background in mental health, social work, counseling, or a related clinical field.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
• Eligibility for or actively holding licensure in New Hampshire as an LCMHC, LICSW, or LMFT is required.
• A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance with minimum coverage of 100,00/300,00 are essential.
